I always wanted to dress up as the Iconic character, Wonder woman. Unfortunately I believe in costuming your size and body type and I’m just too short to be Wonder Woman. This version is from a one shot comic from the Else worlds series. And while I’m still a small Wonder Woman, this outfit was something I thought would work for me.

- The tiara was sculpted from a head cast, and helps in hold the wig in place Gibson girl hairdos are not light. It’s also backed with mole skin.

- The bracers were sculpted from my arm molds. These were rather tricky with the shape. They were cast in resin with metal powder.

- The top is a corset with plastic boning, which was edged with bias tape. The eagle was actually the opposite side of the fabric I used for my Huntress trim always save you scraps. We also aged and stained it to make it look weathered.

- The skirt is made out of the same material as the corset and just zips up in the back. The stars were belt buckles I purchased. I added ties to make it look like they are holding up the skirt.

-I wanted to use a dark blue for gloves with a great texture so I went with a velvet for the gloves and underwear! It’s a little cookie monster with how fuzzy they are. I also added antique buttons on the wrist of the gloves.

-The boots were bought on Ebay.

-The wig was styled with a rats nest, and I added additional pieces in the back and the curls in the front.

-The choker was done with the same fabric as the gloves. I added a decorative ribbon and bought a little metal star for the front, and bought a nice metal clasp for the back.

Sean was a huge help in this and all the fabric items were pretty much all done by him, except the gloves, underwear, aging to the eagle. The addition to the skirt was done by Jenny. Sean was also an incredible help with doing the wig, which when I first got it was a terrible mess. I learned a lot from him when it came to working with this wig.

Surprisingly everyone recognizes me as Wonder Woman, though many people think it’s an original design. It makes me so happy to have a chance to be such an iconic character and wear a Victoria style costume! Covers my butt and makes my legs look good, so it’s a win/win!
